Ghetto Kids thank God for chance at Britain’s Got Talent – Kampala Sun

26 By Ahmad Muto Standing between Uganda’s Triplets Ghetto Kids and £250,000 (about sh1.2b) Britain’s Got Talent competition top prize was comedian Viggo Venn. The Norwegian won at the finale on Sunday, June 5, 2023. However, he sensational dancers put up a spirited performance right from the start, wooing a number of fans to their side, first, intriguing the world with how they got to join the competition yet they are from Africa, secondly their story, and thirdly their ability to dance. They had Duo Odyssey, Musa Motha, Malakai bayoh, Cillian O’Connor, Lillianna Clifton, Travis George, Olivia Lynes and the winner Viggo Venn to beat off to the grand prize. The six dancers went to the finale as favourites after winning the judges and fans of the show over. Hours to the finale, the BBC wrote that winning the show would mean a bigger house for them. On Monday, June 5, 2023, hours after the finale, the youngsters wrote on their socials: “We thank the almighty GOD who has brought us this far. Without HIM, nothing would have been possible. We also thank @BGT who have given us the chance to showcase our talent on the world stage. Finally, we thank y’all for your unwavering support throughout the competition.”
