NEWS– The Minister of State for Investment and Privatisation Hon Evelyn Anite has assured local investors incorporating ICT in development that they will be supported by government.
Minister Anite made the remarks on June 23rd 2022, while in a meeting with Blue Crane Communications Uganda Ltd management at their offices in Kololo in Kampala.
Minister Anite said that Uganda is gearing up for digital revolution in all sectors and therefore an organisation like Blue Crane Communications gives ample opportunities to Ugandans to get into digital technology.
The Minister was accompanied by the Chairman of Board of Directors of Uganda Investment Authority Morrison Rwakakamba and the Director General Robert Mukiza.
According to the founding Director of Blue Crane Communications Denis Turyamuhabwa, the organisation was established to giving power to approach the future with boldness.
Turyamuhabwa said that Blue Crane Communications was incorporated in 2017 and is backed by some of the world’s most credible tech giants in Uganda to show how simple life and work can be with the help of technology.
Turyamuhwabwa said that in this digital era, every aspect of human life is so dependent on technology ranging from education to medicine, Agriculture, Tourism, communication and transportation.
He said that it’s from this background that Blue Crane Communications pride itself in helping the community adopt to rapidly changing environments through smart solutions.
He assured the Minister that Blue Crane Communications provides cost reduction, efficient business management, revenue generation, production of customer oriented results and faster problem solutions and is emerging internet as well as ICT, Security and Surveillance advisory services.
