RUKIGA– Graeter Kabale Media FC was on Monday 8th March 2021 held to a two goals draw by Kyerero FC in a friendly match played at Kyerero playground.
Kyerero Fc is found in Kyerero parish, Bukinda Sub County in Rukiga district in the Kigezi sub region.
Kabale Media FC is made up of all media personnel from media houses in Greater Kabale districts including Rukiga FM, VOK, Revival, Freedom Radio, Hope Radio, Ktown Radio, Rubanda Fm, Hills Fm and Peak FM as well as news reporters of Televisions, online Publications and print media.
The game saw each side scoring a single goal in each half of the game.
This is the fifth fixture for greater Kabale Media Fc in 2021 calendar and they have not registered any win.
In previous games, the team lost to Rukiga Youths Forum FC by 3-1, again lost to Bukinda FC by 4 goals to 1 before falling 1 to nil by Kandago FC. Mparo FC also defeated the media team by a goal to nil 1-0 before today’s first draw.
All the games are being organized by one Kwarikunda Micheal Mbareeba, the vice chairperson for Rukiga district who lost on chairmanship seat in the 20th January 2021 elections.
He lost to NRM’s Mbababazi Robert Kakwerere though he petitioned the Electoral Commission challenging the results citing irregularities that surrounded the polling system in the district.
