BUSHENYI- The Igara East county Legislator Hon Michael Mawanda Maranga on Friday 10th June 2022 handed over some machines worth Ugx 105 million to organized groups of people in his constituency.
The function of handing over the machines was held at Rwentuha town council headquarters, Igara East Constituency in Bushenyi district.
Jafari Basajabalaba Bushenyi district chairman who was the chief guest hailed Hon Mawanda for lobbying for his people such machines which will be used to reduce unemployment and put constituents’ skills to practice.
Some of the groups which have benefited are; Nyakatugunda Tukwatanise group from Bumbeire Sub County who received a sewing machine, Rwentuha Furniture group were given a spraying compressor, Kyabugimbi Calvary Tailoring group from Kyabugimbi got two electric tailoring machines and two hand tailoring machines.
Others are; Kyabugimbi Clever Tailoring group which got an electric tailoring machine and one hand tailoring machine, Rwentuha Classic Designers got an electric tailoring machine and one hand tailoring machine and Rwentuha Tukwatanise Saloon who walked away with two stand driers, two hand driers, two saloon chairs and one sterilizer.
