I don’t hate Bobi Wine, King Saha – Bebe Cool – Kampala Sun

By Hussein Kiganda Gagamel boss Bebe Cool (real name Moses Ssali) has commented on the ongoing online verbal war between his fans and those of King Saha (real name Mansur Ssemanda). This was after Bebe endorsed Cindy Sanyu for the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) presidency. He said he would not support King Saha, claiming that he is not fit for leadership. On his part, King Saha told journalists that Bebe Cool is hating on him and suffering from ‘Sahaiosis’ (a term he coined for people who hold grudges against him). Saha even released a song dubbed Zakayo, which many have interpreted as an attack on Bebe Cool. The Wire Wire singer, however, trashed claims that he is against Saha, the King’s Love boss or National Unity Platform president Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine. “It’s just that Bobi Wine and I don’t agree politically,” Bebe said, before adding: “King Saha is not at my level for me to start fighting with him. We are not the same age, level and don’t have the same goals. It’s totally unfair to drag my name in petty fights with young artistes.” He advised Ugandans not to drag national politics into UMA elections.  “This is UMA, not government. Stop politicising the elections because after all, you are going to serve all musicians regardless of their political affiliations,” he said. For a long time, Bebe Cool has not seen eye to eye with Bobi Wine, with the two singings songs dissing each other. Bebe said competition is healthy because it brings about development.
