Ministry of Internal Affairs spokesperson Jacob Siminyu.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs has announced it will be closing down for at least 48 hours, which will affect its normal operations.
The Ministry will be closed today and tomorrow, officials said, to allow some administration procedures.
Jacob Simunyu the Ministry Spokesperson in a statement regretted inconveniences caused but noted that that offices outside the head quarters will remain operating normally.
“This is done for some administrative procedures which will take place on those two days and will significantly affect service delivery.”
Siminyu says after these two days , operations will resume on Thursday 22nd October 2020.
People who are most likely to be affected are those picking new and renewed passports as well as those seeking work permits.
