KAMPALA– Former NRM Chief Whip Hon. Ruth Nankabirwa has suggested that Rt. Hon. Rebecca Kadaga should come out and apologize to the party Supreme body, CEC for indiscipline.
Nankabirwa says, it’s not over until Kadaga apologizes for standing as an Independent in the race against Jacob Oulanyah for the position of The Speaker, which contravenes the Party rules.
Ms Rebecca Kadaga contested independently announced her in the race for Speaker of the 11th Parliament immediately after the NRM top organ, the Central Executive Committee (CEC) dropped her in favour of her former deputy Mr Jacob Oulanyah also Omoro County MP.
However Mr Oulanyah polled 310 votes, beating Ms Rebecca Kadaga who got 197 votes after bouncing back independently.
Now Nankabirwa says Kadaga must face the consequences of her actions.
