The Police at Kireka are investigating an attempted suicide of Mubiru Dan, 48, a resident of the same area.
The incident happened Monday, June 13, 2022 at about 11am at Kireka Main Market Kira municipality Wakiso district.
It is alleged that Mubiru attempted suicide by cutting his neck with a knife. He was bleeding profusely when the response team from Kireka Police arrived at the scene.
He has been rushed to Mulago hospital for treatment but remains in critical condition.
ASP Luke Owoyesigyire, Deputy PRO KMP, said the cause of the attempted suicide is still unknown but the incident will be investigated.
