NEWS– Kisoro district leadership has officially donated 620 Acres of Land to the Ministry of Investments and privatization for the construction of an Industrial park in implementation of the 2020 Presidential election pledge.
While receiving the Land, the Minister of Investments Hon Evelyne Annite said that the government is targeting to construct 25 industrial parks. She hailed the Kisoro district fraternity for offering the land in unity for development.
Minister Anite said that Kisoro district might be chosen to host a regional industrial park since its in Uganda’s border with Rwanda and Democratic Republic of Congo and having offered the biggest the largest portion of land in the region.
She went on to stress that they are looking for Money to immediately start off the construct of these Industrial parks given the comparative advantage they will have on the country’s development.
The Kibaya land is Located at the border of Uganda and DRC between Bufumbira south and North constituencies.
