She noted that homosexuality has infiltrated schools with funders luring students with a lot of money.
“It is sad for us as voters of Kisoro municipality for our MP to love money over our dignity. Kisoro and Uganda at large have lost reputation because of two MPs Eng Paul Kwizera Bucyana and Fox Odoi. Eng Bucyana should not set a foot again in Kisoro. Homosexuality is not biblical and should be condemned,” said Uzamukunda.
Another demonstrator, George Christopher, a 70-year-old resident of Chahi cell in central division said that he has MP Paul Kwizera had cut himself off of Kisoro by his decision to oppose the bill.
“Our MP angered us for signing against anti homosexuality bill. Right now, I have two wives; tell me, should I send them away and marry my fellow man? Look at this poor road. Our relatives die and he cannot even send condolence message’’, Christopher said.
