Police in Kole District are holding a 28-year-old man on allegations of killing 2 people at his home.
The suspect is Moses Ongom, a resident of Beiko village, Aboke Sub-County in Kole District.
Police identified the deceased as Ambrose Okwir, a cousin brother to the suspect, who was reportedly having an affair with Adong Connie, the 23-year-old wife to the suspect and second victim in the murder.
Area police spokesperson Jimmy Patrick Okema says the duo was at the suspect’s home on 14th Nov 2022 at around 11pm when the suspect found them in bed together.
The suspect stabbed both of them with a knife several times, killing them instantly.
Police visited the scene upon being alerted and arrested the suspect.
Both bodies have been conveyed to Lira Regional Referral Hospital’s mortuary for post mortem, while the suspect is in police custody at Kole CPS.
