NEWS- Leaders in Kasese district have been encouraged to always seek guidance from their predecessors in a bid to acquire knowledge on where to start from while executing their duties.
The encouragement was sounded by the former Kasese District Chairperson and retired RDC, Barnabas Bamusede Bwambale, who also doubles as the Chairperson for the Elderly Council while addressing civil servants and religious leaders who had thronged the Central Division Council Hall for a sensitization meeting.
The sensitization meeting that was organized by the Equal Opportunities Commission was aimed at promoting a just and fair society for all.
Bwambale explained that many leaders across the district do not mind about the people that they succeed in terms of leadership, arguing that this makes them lose guidance and focus.
On her part, the Kasese District Vice Chairperson also noted that there was a need for the political leaders to appreciate the contributions of different regimes rather than planning to contest against them even when their reigns have ended.
