OPINION– Well, some Ugandans are very funny, instead of supporting or promoting their candidate of choice for the office of Speaker 2021-2026 Parliament, they waste time making phone calls to threatening Pro Kadaga bloggers, writers and editors. Using private/undisclosed lines. This is cowardice of the highest order.
The whole of yesterday media coverage for Rt Hon Kadaga was so low due to the fact that there were some elements of people calling those writing about or pro Rt Hon Kadaga editors to stop promoting the person so much loved by not only elected MPs of the 11th Parliament but entire Uganda at large.
One of my editors was called, and I thought it was a joke not until some one called me claiming to be a big person in a big office. I blasted him!
Told him that it is my constitutional right to promote any person I like or love or feel she can deliver to the people of Uganda and therefore supporting Rt Hon Rebecca Kadaga is by choice and nothing can stop me from supporting /promoting her.
He warned me to be careful. I told him that I will support Rt Hon Kadaga, we either go through together or we land some where together.
Now, politics should be about ideas, if a candidate or his backers resort to intimidation it means there is something not right in the product they are promoting.
They are fearing this beautiful Woman from Busoga, yesterday she picked nomination forms dressed in yellow dress and will surely be nominated and Caucus massively supports Rt Hon Alintwala Kadaga Rebecca for speaker of the 11th Parliament.
Those thinking that talking about these facts is a crime, come and we have man to man debate here in my small room in Ntinda.
Next time you call me or any of our editors, please, Do not hide your telephone identity number.
Rt Hon Rebecca Kadaga is the only person that will move the 11th Parliament to another level. A lot will be achieved not only for Members of Parliament but for the Country Uganda, given the fact that she is tested, trusted, tried and stands to defend Ugandans.
