KABALE– The state Minister of trade, cooperatives and industries David Bahati has asked couples to put God first if they are to be successful in marriage.
Bahati who is also the Ndorwa west Member of Parliament was speaking at the wedding ceremony of Bob Ayebare, a son to Francis Twsigye of Mparo in Rukiga district and Susan Atuhumuza a daughter to Murangira Esao of Nyabikoni in Kabale district at Brazin Forest Resort in southern division, Kabale Municipality.
Bahati told couples that a family without God, love and cooperation does not last longer and asked Bob to love Susan with one heart as well as putting emphasis on God, love and engage in income generating projects inorder to prosper in marriage.

Bahati used the same platform and urged people to form Saccos at parish level inorder to benefit from parish development model program.
He assured them that effective July this year, the money for Parish development model, a program meant to eradicate poverty through the execution of development activities at the parishes will be in dockets of Saccos waiting for consumers.
