NAIROBI– The Outgoing Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta yesterday afternoon hosted President-elect Dr William Ruto at State House, Nairobi, ahead of tomorrow’s inauguration ceremony.
After the meeting, President Kenyatta and First Lady Margaret Kenyatta conducted the President-elect and First Lady in-waiting Rachel Ruto on a tour of State House as part of the official handing-over process.
The meeting between President Kenyatta and President-elect Dr Ruto affirms that all preparations for tomorrow’s inauguration are complete.
This was the first time President Uhuru Kenyatta and Dr Ruto were seen in public place together with their wives after the August 9th Presidential Election.
