RUKUNGIRI- The Police in Rukungiri is investigating the circumstances under which a speeding motorcycle knocked dead a one year old child
Elly Maate, the Kigezi region Police spokesperson says the accident occurred today at around 1530 hours at Nyaruzinga village along Rukungiri Mitooma road in Rukungiri District.
Maate says one other victim sustained minor injuries.
Police were notified, visited the scene and the body was conveyed to Case clinic pending postmortem.
The rider and motorcycle are still at large.
