WAKISO– Two people were on Monday May 2nd 2022 confirmed dead in a fatal accident in Kajjansi, in Wakiso District.
Police confirmed the development stressing that the duo perished in an accident involving two motorcycles and a taxi.
Kampala Metropolitan Police Deputy Spokesperson Luke Owoyesigyire said several others who were injured were rushed to the hospital.
“The Police at Kajjansi are investigating a fatal accident that has happened on Monday at Seguku. It involved a taxi registration UAW 723Q, motorcycles UEF 816P Yamaha white, UEO 223L Bajaj and UFB 772U Bajaj white. Two people died on the spot while three others were evacuated to different hospitals with serious injuries,” Owoyesigyire said.
Owoyesigyire said both the motor vehicle and motorcycles involved had been towed to Lubowa Police station and the cause of the accident had not yet been established.
