Uganda Cranes orthodox defender Savio Kabugo is set to complete his return to FUFA Big League outfit Proline Football Club, ChimpReports has learnt.
The defender has been club-less since partying ways with Ethiopia Premier League entity Sebeta Football Club last year.
Speaking to Bigwhales Kabugo said,”I am returning at a place I call home in a move that I believe will help both parties to achieve our goals and I want to make it clear. My mission as a player here is to play games as well as helping the team regain promotion to the top flight. Proline is a family with a great administration and players and I hope my short stay at the club counts.”
The former Sports Club Villa defender could l feature in the FUFA Big League for his second time, a level he last played in while at Sports Club Victoria University (now defunct).
Besides Sebeta, SC Villa and SC Victoria University, the gangly defender had stints with Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club (URA FC) and Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA FC).
Proline FC that was drawn in the Rwenzori group for the next season, will kick off their Startimes FUFA Big League campaign with a home game against Kigezi Home Boys on Thursday, 18th March at the MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo.
