NEWS– Retired Headteacher Canon Yosia Twirire Bigaigwe has urged secondary school students to develop a clear consciousness of critical thinking in order to absorb the what they learn from school.
Can Twirire made the remarks June 3rd 2022, while speaking as the Guest Speaker at the induction of Senior One and Four of Kashenyi Senior Secondary School in Ruhinda Sub County in Rukungiri District.
Canon Twirire hailed the Headteacher Canon Macky Twinomujuni for being a critical thinker who has devised means of instilling morals in the students which has enabled them to improve on their academic performance for a better future.
He urged the students to develop life skills for survival such as communication skills which are very essential tool for development.
Canon Twirire advised the students to become good listeners which is a vital tool in absorbing what they learn and also accept to cope up with life challenges which are part of life.

Canon Twirire advised the students to use their time at school to network since its an important tool that will help them in future and shoukd be determined with ambition in their undertakings because the end justifies the means.
Earlier, the Headmaster Marky Twinomujuni said that the inauguration of new students is done to bind them to school culture of discipline where they take oath and keep it a guiding principle.
Speaking at the same event, the North Kigezi Diocesan Education Officer Sabiiti Babo asked the students internalise and respect the school rules if they are to concertrate on their studies by respecting chool values.

The Chairman of the School Board of Governors Rev Godfrey Mutabazi encouraged the students to remains patient by following the shcool rules which were put in place to help them live as a community.
The function was attended by all S.1 and S.5 students, members of staff, selected parents, area district councillors and other invited guests.
