Human Rights Activist #Mugisha_Eric applauds the role of women in protection and support for children in the country. During an interview, he said, This Women’s Day is for all women who have been on the front-line in taking care of our children while also working from home mainly during this Lock down.
He noted that, this Day is also for the women who lost their jobs during the crisis and are doing their best to see that their children lives a better life. Not forgetting those who no longer want to settle because of discriminations, insecurity and unfairness.
As an activist, “I would like 2021 to bring good news to all the women. And our advocacy should be based on Putting women at the center of all our policies first”. He said.
