I’m that change you need, Muntu tells Kampala
The Alliance for National Transformation (ANT) party presidential candidate Mugisha Muntu Saturday campaigned in Kampala city.
In Kawempe South, he officially opened the Bwaise coordination office, and also held successful campaign meetings in Kawempe North.
He then continued in Nakawa East and Nakawa West in the afternoon.
Muntu and his team were warmly welcomed by the people of “Thailand” Mbuya II, Nakawa who said they have never had a Presidential Candidate visit them.
He promised them what he has been saying everywhere he goes, #ChangeYouCanTrust which puts the #PeopleFirst.
“We owe it to our country and destiny to establish a culture of peaceful political transition and guarantee political stability,” Muntu said.
Muntu said he learnt from the media of the clampdown on campaigns in 11 districts by the Electoral Commission.
“Ever since this electoral exercise began, we’ve kept on asking to meet the technical people in Ministry of Health, we have sought this over and over, nothing happened.”
“Now there’s a clampdown and we learn this on the airwaves! I don’t know whether this is a case of incompetence, or simply arrogance.”
“These people exhibit the most extreme measure of arrogance and I hope that the Ugandan people can wake up to that fact and make them pay heavily come 14th January 2021.”
