Every year, the stage is set for Miss Uganda beauty pageant where a winner is picked to represent Uganda at Miss World finals.
However, because of COVID-19, this year’s edition will not happen and this means the reigning Miss Uganda Oliver Nakakande will hold the crown for another year.
The decision to postpone the pageant was announced by the franchise proprietor, Brenda Nanyanjo, soon after the parent pageant Miss World called off because of the same situation.
This will be the second time Miss Uganda will not happen in a space of just 4 years.
