• Busiro 2-1 Busujju
Busiro maintained their grip on top of the Bulange group after edging a resilient and youthful Busujju 2-1 in the 2020/2021 Airtel Masaza Cup tournament at FUFA Technical Center, Njeru on Wednesday.
Hamuza Kalibwami and Usama Arafat strikes ensured Busiro registered their second successive win of the competition past Busujju that finished with ten players on the pitch following a second booking to Michael Ssimbwa.
Busujju looked a better side, dominating proceedings in the opening stanza and could have picked a point in the game but debutant Omirambe Brian’s 21st minute goal was disallowed when center referee Anna Akoi recalled a foul.
Busujju Ssaza team LineupCoach Frank Mulindwa’s charges later went into the driving seat thanks to a Shafik Kakande’s well converted kick from the penalty mark after 36 minutes of play.

Eight minutes into game restart, Hamuza Kalibwami found Busiro’s equalizer with a close range tap in past goalkeeper Henry Kasule thanks to a Gerrard Ogweti assist.
In the 57th minute, Busiro went into the lead when Usama Arafat nodded home a perfect header on the far post past custodian Kasule ensuring maximum points for the 2019 finalists.
Both Kalibwami and Arafat took their goal tally to three after two games having scored braces each against Buvuma in the Bulange group opening match on Monday.
