Kyambogo University 2025 Private Sponsorship Cut-Off Points

Kyambogo University has officially released the 2025 private sponsorship cut-off points, revealing the minimum entry scores required for admission into various undergraduate programmes.

The cut-offs guide students applying under the private sponsorship scheme, helping them determine which programmes they qualify for based on their Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) weighted scores.

Like most universities in Uganda, competitive programmes such as Engineering, Architecture, and specialized Science courses recorded higher cut-off points, while some arts, education, and vocational programmes had relatively lower thresholds.

What the Cut-Off Points Mean

The cut-off points represent the minimum scores admitted in the previous admission cycle. This means students applying in 2025 may need similar or slightly higher scores depending on competition.

Education experts say the cut-offs help applicants strategically choose courses based on their UACE results, especially for competitive programmes.

Kyambogo University remains one of the largest public universities in Uganda, attracting thousands of applicants every year for programmes in engineering, teacher education, sciences, arts, and vocational studies.
