“Busoga will dance on” — Rachael Magoola fires back at Alien Skin – Sqoop

Veteran artist and cultural voice Rachael Magoola has stepped into the conversation about Alien Skin’s recent remarks that he will never perform in Busoga region again.

For all the buzz surrounding Alien Skin’s decision, Magoola framed it as exactly what it is: a personal choice, not an industry crisis.

“If he doesn’t perform,” she noted, “other artists like Acidic Vokoz and Tina Baby will still perform in Busoga.” She said during an interview on Sanyuka TV.

Her remarks come in response to rising tensions surrounding Alien Skin, who recently declared he would no longer perform in Busoga, a region known for its vibrant love of music and live entertainment.

The women’s representative in Bugweri District also cautioned against violence in the music industry, saying there should be no room for it.

“There should be no room for violence in the entertainment industry,” she stated, her tone measured but resolute. In a space often fueled by ego, competition, and public spectacle, her words cut through with a refreshing sense of clarity , a reminder that music, at its core, is meant to unite, not divide.
