Fik Fameica has once again escaped a potentially serious road accident, four years after surviving a similar incident, with his latest journey ending in a crash that left his team shaken and Mozelo Kidz hospitalised.
Fameica and his team were involved in an accident on Sunday night while returning to Kampala from Lira, where they had completed a three-day performance tour of Northern Uganda.
The musician was travelling with Mozelo Kidz, Xzent Montage, Fresh Nyonga and Josh Deejay when the vehicle they were using was involved in the crash.
Although everyone in the vehicle survived, some reportedly sustained minor injuries. Mozelo Kidz, however, was hospitalised following the accident.
The news has since sent fans and fellow artistes into concern, particularly because this is not Fameica’s first brush with a road accident.
In 2022, the “My Property” singer survived another accident while travelling to Luweero for an extra concert.
The latest incident happened after what had been a busy weekend for the artiste and his crew, who had spent three days performing across Northern Uganda before beginning their journey back to Kampala.
Details surrounding what caused Sunday night’s crash remain unclear, but the fact that everyone survived has offered some relief to fans who have been following the developments
