Sheebah Owns Up After Talking Over Winnie Nwagi on “Let’s Talk About It”

Sheebah Karungi is taking the “let her talk” criticism on the chin.

After hosting fellow singer Winnie Nwagi on “Let’s Talk About It,” she went back to watch the sit-down and came away agreeing with viewers who felt she had talked over her guest.

The moment came with the release of Episode 4, “Famous, But Human,” on September 14, marking Sheebah’s return to the podcast after her recent break.

Now, instead of brushing off the criticism, Sheebah is using it as a lesson in becoming a better host.

If you watched my episode of ‘Let’s Talk About It’ with Winnie Nwagi and found yourself yelling, “Please keep quiet and let her talk!” I hear you. I went back and watched the episode, and you were right: I got too excited and talked over her.

She went a step further, apologising directly to Nwagi and everyone who had raised the issue.

Winnie, I am genuinely sorry. And to everyone who called it out, I hear you too. I apologize. We take accountability in this house! No running, no hiding, no excuses. We take it!

The admission comes as Sheebah settles back into the podcast after taking a break.

On August 27, she apologised to the “Let’s Talk About It” community and explained that she had needed time away to recover.

To my Let’s Talk About It community, I am so sorry. You must be wondering, “Did we just stop all of a sudden?” No, we did not. Your girl just needed to pause certain things and take some time to recover. But I am back, I am fully recovered, and we are resuming very, very soon.

Now four episodes into the podcast, Sheebah admits she is still figuring out how to become a better host.

I am only four episodes in, and I am still learning what it means to be a better host: when to speak, when to listen, and when to give someone the space to be heard.

She is also asking listeners to keep the feedback coming as she finds her footing behind the microphone.

I am learning in public, and I am taking your genuine feedback seriously.

And there is more from Winnie Nwagi on the way.

Sheebah teased a Part 2 of their conversation, meaning fans can expect more from her sit-down with the Swangz Avenue artist.
