Cardi B has set the record straight after fresh rumors about her body flooded social media.

The Grammy-winning American rapper, real name Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, addressed claims that she recently underwent another butt reduction, telling fans they had the story wrong.

Instead, Cardi explained that she already had a butt reduction in January 2024 and has no plans to go through another procedure.

I am a small girl.

She said her petite frame and loose skin make another reduction unnecessary, adding that she feels comfortable with the way she looks now.

Cardi has never hidden her cosmetic procedures from fans.

Over the years, she has spoken openly about enhancing her body and later choosing to reverse some of those changes.

Her latest comments came after social media users began speculating that she had recently changed her appearance again.

Rather than ignore the rumors, Cardi addressed them head-on and made it clear that she is happy with her current body.

She also credited a healthy lifestyle alongside her previous procedures.

Singer Nina Roz has dismissed growing speculation that she is romantically involved with comedian Reign, saying the two are nothing more than close friends despite persistent rumours circulating among fans.

Speaking after Lydia Jazmine’s press conference, Nina laughed off the claims, insisting there is currently no romantic relationship between them. However, she jokingly admitted that she wouldn’t mind if people continued to speculate.

“You have already alleged? Let’s go with that after all he isn’t a bad man,” she said with a smile.

While clarifying that there is nothing going on between them at the moment, the singer stopped short of completely ruling out the possibility of a future relationship.

“Inshallah because we might have other plans, but Allah also has His other plans. Right now I need a God-fearing man who respects me and supports change,” she explained.

According to Nina Roz, her friendship with Reign is largely built on their shared political beliefs, noting that they are both supporters of the National Unity Platform (NUP).

Her remarks come after weeks of online speculation, with fans interpreting the pair’s public appearances and interactions as signs that they could be dating.

Although she insists they are only friends for now, Nina’s light-hearted response has done little to silence the rumours, leaving fans wondering whether the friendship could eventually blossom into something more.

Tyla has updated her APOP World Tour schedule, with Lagos no longer appearing among the list of concert destinations.

The Grammy-winning South African singer had previously announced Lagos as the only Nigerian stop on the tour, with the show scheduled for December 22.

The move follows days of online debate, with some Nigerians calling for a boycott over xenophobic attacks targeting Nigerians in South Africa.

Others defended the singer, insisting she should not be held responsible for those incidents.

Nigerian politician Omoyele Sowore publicly backed Tyla, writing:

Nigerians should direct their anger at their real enemies… No one should hold a talented musician like Tyla vicariously liable for the crimes of xenophobia. Tyla’s Lagos concert must go on.

The controversy intensified after VeryDarkMan vowed to mobilise members of his Ratel Movement to stop the concert from taking place.

As of Friday, Lagos had been removed from Tyla’s official tour schedule.

The singer has not given a reason for the change.

Davido has revealed that one of his daughters is already showing signs of following in his footsteps, but he is not rushing to encourage her music ambitions.

The Nigerian superstar said his second daughter, Hailey Veronica Adeleke, loves music, has a good voice and carries the same lively personality that helped shape his own career.

Despite her talent, Davido admitted he feels uneasy about seeing any of his children enter the music industry because he knows how demanding the journey can be.

While speaking on The Vibe podcast, the father of six explained that his own experiences have made him think twice about encouraging his children to pursue music.

I do not want any of my children to pursue music. My second daughter [Hailey] is already leaning towards music. She is the life of the party. She behaves just like me. She actually has a good voice.

Davido said his concern comes from the challenges he faced while building his career.

He questioned whether his children could handle the same pressure after witnessing everything he endured on his path to success.

But I know what I went through. Can you go through what I go through? Knowing what I have been through, I am skeptical about encouraging any of my children to do music.

Even so, the Afrobeats star made it clear that he will not stand in the way if any of his children decide to chase their dreams.

Davido said his parents eventually gave him the freedom to pursue music despite their initial reservations, and he wants to extend that same support to his own children.

But because my parents and my family eventually allowed me chase my dreams, I would never want to block any of my children from chasing their dreams. And if they are good, why not?

The latest remarks build on comments Davido made earlier this year, when he said he would rather see his children pursue careers in the businesses owned by his father, billionaire businessman Adedeji Tajudeen Adeleke.

He explained at the time that he believed those opportunities would offer them a more stable and comfortable future than the unpredictable world of music.

Having emerged as the First Runner-Up in the Miss Tourism Busoga 2015 pageant, Ronah believes the crown should never represent the peak of a woman’s journey. Instead, she sees it as the beginning of leadership, influence and service.

That belief inspired Queens Affair 2026, an empowerment platform she recently launched at Kampala Serena Hotel to help women transition from pageantry into leadership, entrepreneurship, creative industries and professional careers.

Bringing together beauty queens from across Uganda alongside entrepreneurs, corporate leaders, creatives and professionals, the event challenged the long-held perception that pageantry ends when the crown is handed over.

For Ronah, the platform reflects lessons drawn from her own experience.

“Queens Affair is about redefining what it means to wear a crown. The crown is not the destination; it is the beginning,” she said.

She believes many women leave pageantry with enormous potential but few opportunities to convert the visibility they gain into meaningful careers or lasting impact.

Through Queens Affair, she hopes to bridge that gap by creating spaces where women can build networks, develop leadership skills and gain access to mentorship that extends far beyond the pageant stage.

Held under the theme “Beyond the Crown: Women Thriving in Professional, Creative and Business Spaces,” the inaugural edition focused on equipping women with practical tools to thrive in different sectors while celebrating those already making a difference.

The gathering attracted influential voices from across the region, including Kenya’s High Commissioner to Uganda, H.E. Hon. Ababu Namwamba, who encouraged women to think beyond national borders and embrace regional partnerships as a pathway to growth and opportunity.

The discussions also featured Irene T. Kauma, Permanent Secretary in the Office of the First Lady and Ministry of Education and Sports, who challenged participants to pursue leadership driven by purpose rather than titles.

 

Leadership coach and entrepreneur Manuela P Mulondo urged attendees to identify their unique gifts and use them to positively influence society, reinforcing the evening’s message that lasting success comes from purpose rather than popularity.

Beyond keynote speeches, Queens Affair created opportunities for participants to exchange ideas through networking sessions, panel discussions and recognition awards celebrating women excelling in different fields.

One of the event’s defining moments was the unveiling of the Empower Her Initiative, a mentorship programme that Ronah says will nurture young girls and aspiring beauty queens into confident leaders, entrepreneurs and changemakers.

Rather than remaining a one-off event, Queens Affair is intended to evolve into a year-round platform offering mentorship programmes, leadership forums, business masterclasses, personal branding workshops and strategic partnerships for women across Uganda and the wider East African region.

Ronah says the ambition is to create an ecosystem where women can continue growing long after pageantry, proving that the skills gained through competition can become foundations for successful careers and community leadership.

As pageantry continues to evolve globally, with increasing emphasis on advocacy, entrepreneurship and social impact, Ronah believes Uganda’s beauty queens should equally be equipped to influence boardrooms, businesses and communities—not just runways.

For her, the true value of a crown lies not in the title it confers but in the opportunities it creates to inspire others.

Through Queens Affair, Ronah Kisakye hopes to build a movement where women are remembered less for the crowns they wore and more for the lives they changed.

Ayra Starr has finally broken her silence after worrying fans with a week-long absence from social media.

The Afrobeats star, born Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, revealed that she underwent major surgery a few days ago, forcing her to step away from the spotlight while she recovered.

In a message posted on her Instagram Story, she apologised for disappearing without warning.

Hey Mobstarrs, I am sorry you are not seeing as much of me as I would like. I had major surgery a few days ago.

Ayra Starr admitted she expected to recover much sooner but faced unexpected complications after the procedure.

I was hoping it would be a quick recovery but it was more complicated than they expected.

Despite the setback, she assured fans that she is getting better and will return when she is fully rested.

I just need a bit of rest and I will be back. Starrgirl is coming so soooon.

Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr. P, has finally spoken about the fallout between him and his twin brother, Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy.

The Nigerian singer shared a video on Instagram, saying he wants to set the record straight after years of speculation about what caused the P-Square split.

Sharing the clip, Peter wrote:

I have watched lies travel farther than the truth. Today, I am finally giving the truth a voice.

In the video, he said many people have discussed the brothers’ fallout without knowing what really happened.

I am going to speak my truth today. I challenge anybody, including my twin brother. Anybody can provide a video.

Peter also revealed that he had previously apologised on the same platform where the controversy began.
