Ziza Bafana plans new musicians federation amid SACCO fund dispute

Dancehall artist Ziza Bafana has revealed plans to establish a new musicians federation following his ongoing fallout with Eddy Kenzo over SACCO funds.

In a video shared on his TikTok platform, Bafana expressed frustration with the current leadership, claiming the federation has drifted away from its original mission.

According to him, many artists are feeling sidelined and unheard under the current structure.

Bafana is now rallying fellow musicians who share his dissatisfaction to break away and form a new body that he believes will better represent their interests and bring back focus to the industry.

I’m calling upon all artists who are not satisfied with the way the federation is being run to sign up and we start our own federation. If you feel dissatisfied, let’s do this.

The dispute stems from disagreements over SACCO funds, with Bafana accusing the federation of failing to refund his savings fairly.

However, the federation has pushed back against his claims, stating that the amount Bafana demanded exceeded what they were able to provide.
