Samsung Fights Back Against Dua Lipa’s $15 Million Lawsuit

Dua Lipa’s $15 million legal battle with Samsung is heating up.

Samsung has asked a judge to dismiss the lawsuit the pop star filed over the alleged unauthorized use of her image.

Lipa sued Samsung in May, accusing the company of using her likeness to promote its products without permission.

Now Samsung wants the court to throw the case out.

The dispute centers on promotional material that Lipa says used her image in connection with Samsung televisions.

Her lawsuit seeks at least $15 million in damages.

Samsung’s latest move does not decide who wins the case. It asks the judge to end Lipa’s claims before the dispute reaches a full trial.

The legal fight comes months after Lipa filed the copyright case in federal court in California.

Court records show Samsung had until September 10 to respond to the complaint.

Lipa has not backed down, and the case remains active.

For now, the pop star and one of the world’s biggest technology companies are preparing for their next courtroom showdown.
