If you have ever been in a room when Siyathandana or Woza comes on, you already know what Boohle does to a dance floor.
The South African Amapiano star, behind some of the genre’s popular hits including Siyathandana, Pillow Talk, Ngbambe Duze, and Woza, among others, is coming to Kampala this Sunday, September 20, for Don Julio’s Summer Active party at 1420 on Luthuli Avenue.
Boohle, real name Buhlebevangeli Hlengiwe Manyathi, will headline the day-long party, bringing her distinctive sound to a line-up that also features some of Uganda’s top DJs, including DJ Dash, DJ Ssese, City Girl, DJ Ames and Etania. Back-to-back sets will keep the music moving as the party builds through the afternoon.
At the centre of the experience will be the world’s first luxury tequila- Don Julio, whose offerings will leave guests spoilt for choice on what to enjoy, from bottle serves and perfect serves, to cocktails and shots throughout the day.

Gates open at midday, with packages available for groups looking to settle in for the afternoon. The Active Crew package goes for Shs 800,000 and includes four seats, one Don Julio Reposado and one food platter.
The Sunset Squad package, at Shs 1.4 million, comes with six seats, two Don Julio Reposados and one graded food platter. For those looking to go all out, the Ultimate Wave, at Shs 2.5 million package comes with eight seats, one Don Julio 1942 and two food platters.
With packages already moving, Sunday’s party offers Kampala’s Amapiano crowd a chance to catch Boohle live while settling into an afternoon built around music, food and Don Julio.
