A strange new fashion trend has reached the red carpet, and Margaret Qualley just gave it one of its biggest moments yet.

The American actress arrived at the London premiere of “The Dog Stars” wearing Chanel’s viral barefoot sandals, a design that leaves most of the foot exposed and offers little more than a heel cap and straps.

From a distance, Qualley almost looked barefoot.

That was exactly the point.

The shoes first caught attention when Chanel unveiled them as part of its Resort 2027 collection, and Qualley’s red-carpet appearance has now pushed the unusual design into a much bigger conversation.

Fans have reacted with everything from fascination to complete confusion, especially over the idea of wearing shoes with soles that barely exist.

But fashion has never required practicality.

For now, the stranger the shoe looks, the more attention it seems to get.

While some NUP-leaning fans urged people to boycott Vinka‘s August 21 concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval, Yung Mulo says he would have attended the show.

Speaking on Flex, the singer said he would have joined the crowd if he had been in Kampala and had no other commitments.

Vinka drew criticism after she publicly supported her husband, Nelly Witta, in his bid for a parliamentary seat during the January 2026 general elections.

Witta’s affiliation with the NRM then pushed some NUP-leaning fans to call for a boycott, although Vinka still held the concert and performed for her fans.

Yung Mulo said he never viewed Vinka as someone who actively takes part in politics, which is why he saw no reason to stay away from her show.

I know if I was in the city without much work, I was going to be at her show because I have never seen her vie for political office.

He also argued that individual fans made the boycott calls and that NUP itself never officially campaigned against Vinka or her concert.

It is someone’s choice to say they will not support Vinka, but that is not the party’s position. The party did not come out and campaign against her.

Yung Mulo then brought up his own upcoming concert and the friendships he maintains across political lines.

It would be like people refusing to attend my upcoming show because I support NUP, yet I have many friends in NRM. That is why I am saying this is not about political parties. Fans are simply choosing their own sides.

Bret Michaels had just made his way back onto the stage.

Then, less than a day later, the Poison frontman pulled the plug on the rest of his 2026 shows.

Michaels performed in Georgia on August 21 as he continued recovering from recent kidney stone surgery. But doctors advised him to take more time off, prompting the 63-year-old rocker to postpone his remaining dates for the year.

The decision came after a difficult few weeks. Michaels underwent emergency surgery following severe pain from kidney stones and had already postponed shows as he recovered.

His August 21 performance looked like the start of his return.

Instead, it became his last show of 2026.

Bret Michaels will now spend the rest of the year recovering before planning his next move.

Chris Brown is still dealing with a multimillion-dollar court judgment, and his former housekeeper has now won the right to chase some of his tour income.

Maria Avila, who previously worked for the American singer, won a judgment worth more than $13 million in a lawsuit connected to an alleged dog attack at Brown’s home.

Now, according to court documents obtained by TMZ, a judge has allowed her to seek money from some of Brown’s income streams, including royalties and earnings connected to his touring activities, as she attempts to collect the judgment.

The ruling means the legal battle has entered a new phase.

Winning a judgment is one thing. Collecting millions of dollars is another.

Avila now has a route to pursue money as Brown continues to earn from his music and live performances.

The case stems from a 2021 lawsuit in which Avila alleged that a dog owned by Brown attacked her while she worked at his home. A jury later awarded her more than $13 million after Brown did not appear to defend himself at trial, according to reports.

Brown continues to perform and tour.

Meanwhile, his former employee has secured permission to follow part of that money as she tries to recover the multimillion-dollar judgment.

Vin Diesel has given “Fast & Furious” fans something concrete to hold onto: the next chapter is finally heading back toward production.

The franchise has spent four years trying to reach this point.

After “Fast X” ended on a massive cliffhanger in 2023, the final chapter entered a long development process. Vin Diesel says the team went through four sets of writers before they finally landed on a script he felt could close the story properly.

Now, Diesel says the cameras could start rolling in December.

Speaking at the 25th-anniversary screening of “The Fast and the Furious” in Los Angeles, the actor said:

We start shooting in December, if I can make good on the request from the studio.

Diesel also revealed that the new script hit him hard. After years of development, he says he cried when he read it because he finally felt they had something worthy of ending the saga.

“Fast Forever,” the 11th main film in the franchise, is scheduled to hit cinemas on March 17, 2028.

After years of delays and uncertainty, the final ride is finally getting closer.
