Kasuku Tips Ray G to Become Uganda’s Biggest Artist in Two to Three Years

Media personality Isaac Daniel Katende, popularly known as Kasuku, believes Ray G could become Uganda’s biggest music artist within the next two or three years.

Kasuku shared the prediction during an appearance on Omulangira Ndausi Live, where he pointed to the Western Uganda singer’s deliberate approach to his career.

He believes Ray G knows exactly how to handle his journey and warned that Central Uganda artists could struggle to reclaim the top spot once the singer gets there.

He knows what he is doing, so do not be surprised if, in the next two or three years, he becomes the biggest artist in the country. It could take Central Uganda artists a long time to remove him because he is intentional about everything he does.

Ray G Jubilate

Kasuku’s prediction comes days after Ray G drew a massive crowd to Kololo Independence Grounds for his concert on August 7.

The show added fresh weight to his growing presence in Kampala and pushed back against critics who have questioned whether his popularity extends beyond Western Uganda.

Ray G had already tested that argument in the capital. On May 10, 2024, he held another successful concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval, proving that he could also pull crowds outside his home region.

Kasuku also praised the way Ray G handles his public image. He said the singer has built a strong brand and carries himself like a star.

His reserved personality also impressed Kasuku. Rather than constantly joining public conversations and controversies, Ray G keeps a lower profile and lets his work speak for him.

He has branded himself well and carries himself like a star. He is not too chatty and prefers to keep himself reserved.

Ray G Jubilate

Two successful Kampala concerts now sit alongside Ray G’s strong following in Western Uganda.

As his audience continues to grow, Kasuku believes the singer has the talent, strategy and discipline to make a serious push for the biggest spot in Ugandan music.
