Singer Nina Roz has once again set the record straight on her relationship with comedian Reign, denying persistent rumours that they are secretly dating.
The two have remained close friends while also working together musically, most recently on “Olyotya Eyo.”
Their friendship has continued to attract questions, but Nina Roz says there is more behind their closeness than romance.
During an interview on Sanyuka Uncut, she pointed to their shared ideologies, their connection to the late Hellen Nakimuli, and the support they offer each other despite working in different sectors.
He is my friend. First and foremost, we believe in the same ideology, in the same person, and his friend, the late Hellen Nakimuli, was both our friend. So you find that there is a lot that connects us, and we are in different sectors, so we both help each other in ways you do not expect, but not in ways you expect.
And while the romance rumours continue to follow them, the pair could have more music on the way.
Nina Roz revealed that Reign is likely to put out his solo single first before they release more music together.
Let us first give you a video, and it will come out soon, inshaallah. I think he is going to first release his single as I also push on with preparations for my concert, then we will release more music.
