Singer Derrick Biswanka has advised President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni to divert the Ugx 5 billion that he promised to Kasuku to people who lost their merchandise a few days ago due to floods in Kampala city.
A few weeks ago, while addressing a team of content creators at his Kisozi ranch, President Museveni pledged to support their SACCO with Ugx5B.

There has since been heavy criticism online with netizens, artists, and fellow content creators questioning if that is the best use of the money, as the country has more pressing issues.
Artist Biswanka has added his voice in advising the president against giving that money to the SACCO, but rather to help aid traders who lost their stock during the floods that ravaged Kampala following a heavy downpour a few days ago.
Via Facebook, Biswanka wrote:
President Museveni, we request you don’t give the 5 billions you promised to give to Kasuku and the team but rather give that money to the people who lost their items due to the floods that occurred near the Hamis Kiggundu premises.
