A Pass has opened up about experiencing heartbreak for the first time, revealing that it happened during his early dating days and caught him completely off guard.
Speaking during an interview on NRG Radio Uganda on Friday morning, the singer shared that the breakup was particularly painful because he still wanted the relationship to continue while the other person had already decided to move on.
According to A Pass, the experience left a lasting emotional mark on him at the time.
It was tough. The relationship ended when I didn’t expect it to end. I still wanted it. I’d sit in my room and the tears would just pour even without crying. It was the first time I was heartbroken and the last time.
The singer explained that although he has faced disappointments in relationships since then, he has never again experienced heartbreak of that magnitude.
A Pass noted that he always commits fully whenever he enters a relationship, choosing to be honest and genuine even if things do not work out in the end.
But if someone disappoints me, I accept that maybe I was the fool or whoever, but at least I gave my all. I was honest.
He added that he would rather give his whole heart to a relationship than hold back his feelings, emphasizing that he has never been in a relationship without being fully committed.
I don’t feel like I’d ever be in a relationship when I don’t like it. There’s no relationship I have ever been in when I’m not fully committed. It has never happened.
