Among those deeply moved is Sheilah Carol Gashumba, who has pledged to fully cover the girl’s school fees until she completes her studies through the Sheilah Gashumba Foundation Scholarship Program, once her identity is confirmed.
“Let me know when you find the girl. She seems committed to her studies—riding a bicycle in the rain! Bless her. I’m ready to pay her school fees in boarding until she is done with her studies!” she said.
The public has since praised Sheilah Gashumba for her generosity and willingness to extend support to underprivileged learners.
