Coco Finger has revealed that the music industry is laden with many artists who are surviving on luck and media support but actually lack talent.
In an interview with Galaxy TV, Coco Finger noted that the industry has been shaped in such a way that with a hit song, anyone can become a star and survive for many years.
He, however, urges fellow artists to learn how to play musical instruments because it adds an advantage in creativity if you can play an instrument.
Many artists today cannot sing or play instruments, but they have made it and have hit songs in their catalogs. This industry is all about hit songs. As long as one has hits, one gets bookings and has a wide fan base.
But of course, as an artist, if you can play instruments, it’s an added advantage. It doesn’t necessarily mean that those who can’t play instruments can’t make it; they are a big percentage, actually. The media still promotes them, and they make it even with bad vocals. Luck is involved, and everyone has their own chance.
