The highly anticipated Linus Tattoo Party is returning for its second edition on May 15, with organizers confirming a move to the larger Millennium Park Grounds in Lugogo following growing demand from partygoers.
The event, which blends tattoos, urban art, and Amapiano culture, will now also feature a partnership with Captain Morgan through its flavored Muck Pit Melon Splash experience.
Speaking during the announcement, Raymond Karama, Brand Manager at Uganda Breweries Limited, said the partnership reflects the brand’s focus on self-expression and vibrant nightlife culture.
“Running under the Spice On campaign, we are celebrating free self-expression through art and the energy that Amapiano brings to the groove,” Karama said.
“Through both Captain Morgan Gold and the new Muck Pit Melon Splash, there will be something for everyone.”
Returning for its second edition, the event is organized by creative artist Linus, whose tattoo-inspired concepts have become associated with Kampala’s evolving urban culture scene.
Linus promised fans a bigger and more energetic experience this year, combining music, body art, and interactive entertainment.
The party is expected to attract large crowds, especially with South African Amapiano stars Scotts Maphuma, Cowboii, and Officixl RSA confirmed as headliners.
The trio is behind popular songs including Mark Zuckerberg, Ngibolekeni, and Nakupenda, tracks that continue dominating clubs and playlists across Africa.
Besides performances and tattoo showcases, attendees will also take part in interactive games and crew experiences before the main party gets underway.
