Sheebah revisited their old friendship and explained why she chose Cindy to write her first song. She revealed that she has always admired the self-styled King Herself.
We had a good friendship going on. I admired her, and she wrote my very first song when I left the group (The Obsessions).
Sheebah was, however, shocked later on in her career when the same woman she regarded as an icon turned around and started attacking her.
She believes Cindy’s actions were a call for relevance and only poked her to get the attention.
I knew she was great, so there was no point in competing with her. Fast forward, when I became a star, she realised the only way to stay in the game is by poking me because when she pokes me, she gets the attention.
She earned the most money from the battle we had. She had never been hired for that much money.
