May is a fresh start for Kataleya & Kandle who recently announced parting way with their former management. Amateur (produced by Nessim) is the first single of their new normal and as usual, they relay their diverse vocals and music styles on this one. The visuals are a good watch too.
- Oli Mwana Wooha – Juliana Kanyomozi
Julian Kanyomozi’s Oli Mwana Wooha is a thank-you note to her creator. “I thank you, God, for all you’ve done, for the battles fought and the victories won. For my health, my wealth, the love that never ends, I thank you, God, for family and friends.”
- Esaala Ya Munansi – Spyda MC
Spyda MC goes deep again, using his lyrics to inspire Ugandans. He decribes ‘Esaala Ya Munansi’ (translated as “A Prayer Of The Citizen”) as “a song that aims at reminding ourselves of our responsibility.”
- Mama – Expect XHAVI
Expect XHAVI drops a song for his mother. Mama is a song that you will send to your mother to let them know how much you miss her and how much she means to you.
- Overdose – Grenade feat. Jumabee
He might be out of the +256, but Grenade’s music career is far from over. From overseas, the singer drops a new song titled Overdose alongside Jumabee.
