Karole Kasita has opened up about why she often chooses to remix her songs instead of releasing full collaboration projects with other artists.
Speaking during an interview with Allan Cruz on Cruz Xclusive, Karole explained that the decision is largely driven by her desire to fully maximize every project she invests in.
According to the singer, she spends a lot of money producing and promoting her music, which is why she prefers to keep pushing a song in different ways before moving on to another project.
I love to exhaust every project of mine. I invest too much money in my projects so I want when I release a song, I want to get all the money I put in it, out of it.
Karole noted that remixing songs has worked well for her over time, adding that it is not necessarily something she plans from the start, but rather something that naturally happens depending on how a song performs.
Karole also dismissed claims that releasing multiple remixes can sometimes overshadow or ruin the original version of a song. She insisted that she has never experienced such a problem with her music career.
She further explained that at her stage in the industry, she no longer feels pressure to constantly prove her vocal ability, but instead focuses on making enjoyable music for her fans.
Someone told me thereโs a point you reach in the music industry and people already know that you can sing and thereโs nothing to prove anymore but to release music for them to enjoy. I like to release fun music.
