For weeks, Uganda’s entertainment industry has watched with growing concern as tensions between Pallaso and King Saha steadily escalated from public exchanges into a full-blown fallout.
What initially appeared to be another celebrity misunderstanding has now evolved into something far more serious, raising concerns about safety, division within the industry, and the growing hostility between artist camps.
The situation took an alarming turn following claims by King Saha that he was attacked on Thursday night, with one of his vehicles left badly damaged in an incident he alleges involved Pallaso and a group linked to him.
Now, the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) has finally weighed in.
In a strongly worded statement released today, the association condemned the violence and public hostility surrounding the feud, warning that the industry risks losing the unity that has long been central to the growth of Ugandan music.
“The Uganda Musicians Association is deeply concerned about the ongoing conflict and public exchanges between fellow musicians Pallaso and King Saha, which has unfortunately escalated into violent confrontations involving their respective teams and supporters,” part of the statement reads.
The association emphasized that violence, threats, and intimidation have no place in the music industry.
“As an association committed to promoting unity, professionalism and the growth of the music industry in Uganda, we strongly condemn all forms of violence, threats and actions that may endanger lives or disrupt peace among artists and their fans,” the statement added.
Signed by UMA president Big Eye StarBoss (Mayanja Ibrahim), the statement described the developments as deeply unfortunate, cautioning that music should never become “a source of hatred, division or bloodshed.”
Beyond condemnation, UMA also pledged to take an active role in helping de-escalate tensions.
According to the association, plans are underway to facilitate dialogue and peaceful reconciliation between the parties involved in an effort to restore calm and prevent further escalation.
The intervention comes at a critical moment, as concerns continue to grow over how deeply the fallout could divide supporters and destabilize relationships within Uganda’s entertainment industry.
By the time of publication, neither Pallaso nor King Saha had publicly responded to UMA’s statement.
