Now, Karole Kasita has finally opened up about why the once tight friendship gradually faded.
Speaking during a recent KFM interview, the dancehall singer revealed that there was no dramatic fallout or bad blood between them. Instead, life simply happened.
“People grow and I don’t know how Feffe Bussi and I outgrew each other, but I have a boyfriend and Feffe has a girlfriend and they’re both not okay with us being close to each other like that anymore,” she explained.
According to Karole, entering serious relationships naturally changed the dynamic between them, forcing both of them to reconsider the closeness they once shared.
She admitted that at some point, they found themselves having to choose between protecting their romantic relationships and maintaining the same friendship dynamic that had existed for years.
“You meet that one person that makes you question some of your friendships, and you find yourself asking them for some space,” she said.
Karole explained that over time, communication slowly reduced, the calls became fewer, and the friendship naturally drifted apart, something she described as painful but realistic.
“It is sad, but it is the reality,” she added.
Her revelation offers insight into a friendship that had long fascinated fans, particularly because of persistent rumours suggesting the pair may have once been romantically involved. However, both Karole and Feffe Bussi had always maintained that their connection was purely platonic.
Now, it appears adulthood, love and changing priorities quietly reshaped what was once one of Uganda entertainment’s most talked about friendships.
