Ragga Dee condemns fighting in music industry, advocates for talent and discipline

Veteran musician Ragga Dee has cautioned contemporary artists against engaging in fights, saying physical confrontations do not define greatness or success in the music industry.

Speaking about how artists from his generation managed to stay relevant, Ragga Dee noted that they focused primarily on their craft rather than conflicts, which he says are now becoming common in the current music scene.

These days if music fails, some people resort to fighting and if one side wins, they brag about that. There was integrity during our time and caring about protecting your brand.

He emphasised that success in music should be built on talent, discipline, and brand protection rather than physical dominance or public altercations.

With over 40 years in the entertainment industry, Ragga Dee warned that fighting does not make an artist a star or a leader in the industry.

I have ever seen someone go to Luzira Prison for life due to fighting. You might beat up someone and they have their illnesses and you end up killing them even with small contact.
