Former Obsessions member Hellen Lukoma has praised Sheebah Karungi, describing her as someone who has always stood out as a star from the very beginning of her career.
Speaking in an interview, Lukoma reflected on the time they briefly worked together in the legendary girl group Obsessions.
She explained that by the time Sheebah joined the group, she and fellow member Brendah were already on their way out, although they still got the chance to work together for a short period.
According to Lukoma, Sheebah’s talent and energy were impossible to ignore even back then.
Sheebah has always been a star and she was really vibrant. You know she was doing karaoke and she was the best of their team. To have joined Obsessions, she was doing really great.
Lukoma, who has built a diverse career in entertainment through music, acting, and motherhood, also spoke about why she has never considered starting her own podcast to share her life experiences like Sheebah has done recently.
The former HB Toxic singer jokingly admitted that fear of the public has partly held her back.
“I fear you guys,” she said with a laugh, before adding that she has never seriously thought about starting one.
