Singer Derrick Biswanka has opened up about the threats and violent incidents he says he has endured in his troubled relationship with his baby mama, who recently appeared in a viral video allegedly slapping their child for resembling him.
The disturbing clip attracted widespread criticism on social media, with former State Minister for Youth and Children Affairs Balaam Barugahara calling for the woman to be held accountable over her actions.
Speaking about the matter, Biswanka revealed that this is not the first troubling incident involving his baby mama.
He alleged that at one point, she orchestrated an attack against him by hiring a group of thugs who assaulted him after one of his performances.
“One time when I was coming from a show, she plotted a gang of thugs to attack me, and they beat me up. I was traveling in a car that I had hired, and it was vandalized. The guys who attacked me were asking me why I had slept with their girlfriend,” Biswanka claimed.
The singer further disclosed that after he confronted her regarding the recent child abuse allegations, she allegedly issued fresh threats against him.
When I talked to her about my child’s saga, she warned me that she is capable of hiring gangs to attack me again and bury me alive. She told me that she wants to see me lose hope and regret why I was born. So, dealing with such a person is difficult. That’s why the police should intervene.
The allegations have since fueled public concern, with many social media users calling for authorities to thoroughly investigate the matter for the safety of both the child.
