Steve Harvey, the American TV host, actor, producer, philanthropist, and author, could soon be planning a trip to Uganda following a recent interaction on X (formerly Twitter) that sparked excitement among Ugandans online.
The multi-award-winning American star stirred conversation after posting a question to his followers asking: “What’s the best-kept secret in all of Africa? The rest of us can start planning trips.”
Among the many responses he received was one from a Ugandan user identified as Mukisa Isaac, who passionately highlighted Uganda’s unique beauty and tourism attractions.
“Uganda, the Pearl of Africa! From gorilla trekking in Bwindi to the epic Nile source and Lake Victoria sunsets… untouched beauty, warm hearts, and zero crowds. Steve, pack your bags, this secret’s ready to shine!” Mukisa Isaac posted.
The message seemingly caught Steve Harvey’s attention, prompting him to respond with excitement, writing: “Uganda sounds amazing, I’m sold!”
Harvey’s reaction has since generated excitement among Ugandans, with many viewing it as a positive endorsement for the country’s tourism sector.
Uganda has, in recent years, continued attracting internationally recognized personalities who have openly praised the country’s natural beauty, wildlife, hospitality, and tourism potential, further boosting its image on the global stage.
