Lynda Ddane has shared a list of some of her favourite female DJs in Uganda, applauding the growing number of women making an impact in the country’s entertainment industry.
Speaking on Frank Ntambi’s podcast, the TV presenter, MC, and DJ was asked to name her top female DJs.
However, Ddane admitted that it was difficult to choose favourites because of the many talented women she has worked with over the years.
I can’t pick favourites, I work with so many and I might leave out some. But of my generation, we do have Etania, Sheilah (Gashumba) is a DJ and she’s also amazing at her craft, City Girl is there.
Ddane went on to mention several other female DJs she believes are doing an excellent job in the industry, including Thee Wildfire, She Money, Ree DJ, and Last Gal.
She noted that the list could easily be much longer, saying she knows many talented female DJs and did not want to leave anyone out.
There’s also DJ Tutu, I became a big fan of hers recently. Alisha too, I almost forgot her but she’s good and they are doing amazing.
