For months, fans have been convinced there was more than music brewing between Sandra Naxx and Fangone Forest boss Alien Skin. But if you were hoping for a secret celebrity romance, Sandra has just poured cold water on the speculation.
The singer has once again firmly denied claims that she and Alien Skin are romantically involved, insisting their relationship is built on friendship, mentorship, and music, nothing more.
Speaking during an interview, Sandra addressed the rumors head-on and revealed why a romantic relationship between the pair is practically impossible.
According to the singer, Alien Skin doesn’t even view her as a potential love interest.
“He cannot even hit on me because he is a Ssalongo and I am Nakato,” Sandra explained, referring to the Buganda cultural titles that traditionally create a father-daughter-like bond between them.
And that’s not all.
Sandra went on to reveal that Alien Skin regularly refers to her as his daughter whenever he talks about her, further reinforcing the nature of their relationship.
“He sees me as a daughter,” she said, making it crystal clear that the connection fans have been reading into simply doesn’t exist.
The rumors have followed the duo for years, largely because of their undeniable chemistry on hit collaborations such as Kapati and Nepanka. Their close friendship and constant appearances together under the Fangone Forest camp have only fueled speculation that they were secretly dating.
But Sandra says fans shouldn’t mistake musical chemistry for romance.
In fact, she admitted that Alien Skin doesn’t even possess the qualities she looks for in a romantic partner, another reason why a relationship between them is off the table.
Despite the endless gossip, Sandra maintains that their bond remains one of mutual respect, friendship, and professional support.
